Charles T. Kelly was born in Evansville, Indiana. He received a B.S. from Western Kentucky University in 1981 and received his J.D. in 1990 from the University of Houston Law Center. He interned with the 14th Court of Appeals of Texas. He is also a hazmat-certified fire and arson investigator and a certified subrogation recovery professional. He has lectured insurance professional on topics on insurance law, subrogation law, and debt collection practices. His published articles include “When Can Carriers Sue Their Own Insured?” published in Texas Lawyer, “Can a Workers’ Compensation Insurance Carrier Subrogate Against Its Own Insured?” published in Texas Bar Journal, and “Indemnity Clauses and the Additional Insured” published in The Subrogator. He authored “Negligence and Property Loss Claims” for the Insurance Adjuster Certification Program. He has also served as an instructor for Claims University, Travelers Insurance Company. His affiliations include Texas Association of Defense Counsel, National Association of Subrogation Professionals, National Association of Fire Investigators, International Association of Fire Investigators, National Fire Protection Association and International Association of Marine Investigators. Charles’ primary areas of practice are insurance defense, investigation of suspicious insurance claims, business litigation, toxic tort litigation, product liability, premises liability, workers' compensation, oil field accidents, wrongful termination, insurance coverage disputes, auto accidents, and subrogation.

Loren R. Smith practices in the areas of subrogation recovery, insurance defense, premises liability, products liability, auto accidents, civil appeals, and consumer litigation defense. Loren was born in Indianapolis, Indiana. He received a Bachelor of Science degree from Indiana University in 1985, and received his J.D. in 1990 from the University of Houston Law Center. He is licensed to practice law in the State of Texas and several Federal Jurisdictions. Loren has presented lectures to insurance professionals on insurance subrogation law. He has handled multiple appeals from State and Federal Courts, several of which resulted in published opinions. Loren's experience in assisting the development of case law in Texas includes the successful prosecution of the following appeals:

W. Scott Red, Jr. is a native Texan, whose family roots pre-date the formation of the Republic. Following in his father’s footsteps, Scott has zealously represented clients and tried cases for over 35 years, throughout the State of Texas, and across the United States. Scott received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Rice University in 1976, and his Juris Doctor from South Texas College of Law in 1981. Scott is admitted to practice law before the State Bar of Texas, the United States Supreme Court, the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of Texas. Scott handles complex litigation including: commercial; construction; corporate; insurance and insurance defense; personal injury, premises, products liability, and professional liability defense; trade secret / intellectual property / non-competition; real estate / title; estate; and subrogation litigation. Additional practice areas include: construction; contracts; business entity formation; as well as, probate, wills, and trusts. Over the course of his career, Scott has successfully defended clients against numerous multi-million-dollar claims and suits; established a high summary judgment success rate; and, has successfully pursued numerous multi-million-dollar subrogation claims and suits.
